Day 01 Arrival to San Jose/ Centro Colon  Hotel
A Frida Travel representative will get you at the airport and provide transportation to the hotel located in the vibrant town of San Jose. This  hotel provides new-styled architecture, easy access to dining and shopping, Standard Double Room,buffet breakfast included.

Day 02 Flight to Lapa Rios
An early morning transfer will drive you to Pavas Airport to board your flight to Puerto Jimenez to begin your adventure at Lapa Rios, an absolute sanctuary for nature lovers. Its unique facilities are in perfect symbiosis with the ecological surroundings and will literally immerse you in the lush rain forest canopy. The panoramic ocean views and wildlife watching opportunities are unparalleled.
Double Bungalow, three daily a-la-carte meals are included.

Day 03 Lapa Rios
*Suggested activities: Hiking! All guided tours in the Lapa Rios Reserve help support the ongoing maintenance and land acquisition of the private reserve. Hiking with (and learning from) a knowledgeable local guide provides income to the surrounding communities and contributes to the notion that preserving lowland tropical rain forest has more intrinsic and sustainable value than wood extraction. Encourage the conservation of the ecosystem! Horseback riding, kayaking, world-class sport fishing, dolphin-watching boat rides, and other exciting day adventures are also offered.

Day 04 Lapa Rios
*Suggested activities: Share the cool early morning air with the over 319 bird species that inhabit the reserve. Ride to nearby Matapalo Beach or up the mountain for a two-hour guided nature walk. The knowledgeable guide will bring a high-end Swarovski telescope to facilitate numerous sightings of exotic species of birds, morpho butterflies, monkeys, and other mammals. Of course bringing your own binoculars is highly recommended. A delicious breakfast will be waiting for you at around 8:15am.

Day 05 Arenal Volcano/Volcano Lodge
Early morning departure flight to San Jose where you will pick up a manual transmission Toyota RAV 4 (or similar), LDW, a/c, and free mileage for a 3-4 hour drive to Tabacon Resort. Good opportunity to enjoy the countryside through rolling hills and picturesque small towns. Tabacon is nestled in a lush valley on the northern side of Arenal Volcano, and features a series of volcanic thermal pools among beautifully landscaped grounds and a first-row view of the colossus.
Entrance to Hot Springs, and breakfast included.

Day 06 Volcano Lodge
*Suggested activities: Enjoy one of the many family tours offered in the Arenal area, including the Safari River Raft, the Caño Negro Natural Refuge, guided hiking tours, horseback riding, or the adrenaline-infused Canopy Tour for unique perspectives of the local flora and fauna. The area's exuberance will thrill adults and children alike.
Entrance to Baldi Hot Springs, and breakfast included.

Day 07 Centro Colon Hotel
Drive back to San Jose and return your vehicle at the Centro Colon  where you can  venture downtown for souvenir shopping and urban sightseeing. Time permitting, we can recommend a variety of tour operators that specialize in San Jose City Tours that include visits to the Pre-Columbian Gold and Jade Museums, the National Theater, and the picturesque town of Escazu.

Day 08 Drive to San Jose/Departure
The hotel shuttle will drive you from to the Juan Santamaria International Airport for your return flight.
