TIRIMBINA RAIN FOREST CENTER
The Tirimbina Rainforest Center is a
tropical science resource and travel destination where education,
research, and striking beauty combine for outstanding encounters
with nature.
We offer visitor facilities at the
Centro Neotrópico Sarapiquís and the Reserve, along with education
and research programs, workshops and curriculum in both Wisconsin
and Costa Rica. Located within the rainforest
and river environments of Costa Rica, TRC highlights biodiversity,
ecological systems, conservation and human culture.

Education
Programs - Costa Rica
Under the supervision of a Tirimbina
Rainforest Center Education Director, the Centro Neotropico
SarapiquíS provides programs to serve resident guests, local or
touring day visitors, teachers, students for day or extended visits,
special interest adult groups, and volunteer naturalists and guides.
Educational programs are designed to
address the needs, interests and abilities of those who visit the
center.
School groups, elementary and high
school, are guided through learning experiences tailored for their
needs.
Higher education students may be
involved in investigations and research that will unravel the
complexities of survival.
Adults who are informal learners find
opportunities to explore as extensively as they wish.
The Center offers an environmental
education program that, are unlike any other in Costa Rica. Programs
to be offered will ultimately include:
